Christ and His Churches Intimacy
Ephesians 5:22-23: “This is a big secret, but I mean the relationship between Jesus and His Church”
In relation to the slogan “Know and Stay in the Truth”, the intimacy with God should always be part of most important experience throughout our lives. This intimacy is the so specific and essential that there is no more distance between us and God. There are some points that need our attention to proceed with this intimacy with Him.
Everyone of us has unique time, way, and flavor to build our intimacy with God.
Why time? Everyone of us after we were reborn in Christ Jesus need time to grow to be mature Christians. We do not become mature instantly, but it is a process.
Why way? Everyone of us talks, moves, and thinks uniquely and in different ways and it depends on where we are among others.
Why flavor? It depends on how we are able to taste and digest the spiritual food in the form of learning to the perfection.
We need patience and consciousness to walk with God.
When we build intimacy with Him, there are few things that need our full attention:
- Our relation with Him (as His son, friend, or bride)
- Our physic (completely perfect in the image of God)
To achieve the perfection in this intimacy with God, we need to spend more time just with Him to know Him more and more. This can be done through prays and His Words and also let our lives be led by His Holy Spirit.
The knowledge and the wisdom are promised by God to everyone who shouts at Him and pray to Him and also read His Words. This wisdom and knowledge will bring us to the unlimited peace that suffice our spiritual lives anytime and at anyplace.
Miss our God in any situation we are facing right now and do His Words with love. Then we will be witnesses of the Truth that the longer we spend time with Him, the more similar we are to Him.
